LOGO & BUSINESS CARDS OF YU

After getting feedbacks from classmates last week, I picked some logo sketches to make digital logo version. I would prefer some simple and abstract ones, but Dan was giving me suggestion of obvious "Yu" ones. So, I made a try on both style. Below are the logo trys.

I want the brand to be refreshing, quiet, thoughtful and creative, so I come up with this color palette with the dark colors and also vivid and soft colors. And as the typeface, I am thinking about using Tofino Pro Personal. This font looks simple, clean and modern.

Then, I took two of the logos that I like most and Dan likes to make business cards. Here are the trys that I did.
