This week we are presenting two assignments that we did after last class. First, it is the travel brand case study. I chosed Duolingo which is a language learning online platform.
From the case study, I learned about the aspects you would have to think of when you are designing a brand. First of all, the basic ideas of the brand, like what it defines itself. So, in this case, Duolingo defines itself as a free language learning online platform. Brand promise is also an important part. It tells its audience what the brand's value is and what they can expect from the brand. You will also need to think about your audience, who are they? and how your brand will solve their problems. And the visual aspect of the brand is also improtant. the logo, colors, style, etc. all reflect the brand's personality and help the audience get the idea of the brand. Then media is a main way to communicate with your audience and advertise the brand. How you portray the brand can affect its impression of the audience.
